another hi-temp question

I’m doing my first job with hi-temp powder, a set of side pipes for a mustang cobra. They were originally painted black, which is now gray in some places, and they are too big to fit in my blast cabinet. Will leaving the old paint, which is very thin, on in the tight places cause problems down the road? The rest of the piece stripped nicely with my orange nylon drill attachment and my sander.

I’m sure regular powder would be ok, but I’m not sure about the high temp.

I will probably break out my pressure pot, but its so messy and doesn’t have a valve on the end of the hose to turn on and off, so its pretty unruly.
