I tried this the other day, and what a mess I made. I put the reflective chrome on first and let it cool after cure. The blue would not stick at all. I thought it was a ground problem so, I grinded a spot off on the backside of one part, but still no go. So then I put the parts back in and heated them up to around 200 deg, I also up the pro gun dial from 11 o’clock to 2. Bingo I finally got the blue to stick. Some parts turned out different shades, but this is because some were heavier coats. Does this sound normal for translucent powders. Also when I install these parts should I use washers? Will the coatings bust/break when you install bolts against them? Thanks, Russ
