i bought the alum/brass buffing kit awhile ago and have had great results on some hand made alum brackets. Now I’m restoring the “belt line” trim on my 64 chevelle. After removing all the dents and sanding out all the scratches, I’m buffing and polishing. Here’s the problem. All the sanding marks come out but the finish looks “foggy”. Nothing even close to the brackets i had done. I assume I removed all the anodizing with the sanding, the material is thin so I was careful not to go too far. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
