I’m slightly concerned that i didn’t get enough paint but i know that 2 gallons would be way to much for my 83 rabbit, so i have an idea. I think that if i jamb the doors and hatch with 1 to 2 coats then hopefully get full coverage on the exterior in under 3 coats, i should have at least a quart of single stage white left. with that remaining white paint i would proceed to mix 25% activated clear, spray a coat on the exterior (not the jambs) then mix 50% clear and spray the last coat resulting in 4 to 5 coats total. I hope i can manage this with 2 quarts of clear. im just worried about not having enough mils with the single stage alone and i would like it to shine as much as possible.
