I want to get my computer case powdercoated, so I went to a local powdercoater to ask some general questions and for a quote. He doesn’t have any 6-32 plugs to protect the threads.

I need about 50~ or so 6-32 holes plugged before coating, anyone have any suggestions for alternatives or a cheap place to actually get the plugs? Someone on a computer modding forum suggested using low-strength studs (http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-threaded-rods/=igs33p) because they are very cost effective and easy to use… but I’m afraid that it would be difficult to remove the studs after they would have been powdercoated…
any suggestions?
