Was a professional automotive painter in the late 80’s and have had a desk job for the last 24 years but still paint a couple of cars a year. I’ve always used a Binks 2001 and it’s served me well but figured it’s about time to get into the current century. I don’t want to spend a fortune on a gun but want something that will lay the paint and clear down nice. Got an email the other day from a paint company offering a 3M Accuspray which uses a disposable plastic air cap set up and kind of intrigues me. Have you or anyone on this forum had any experience with these and do they work well or are they more of a gimmick?
