    Hello All,

I am a old school body man/mechanic. I have worked in many custom shops over the years and have recently decided to get back into the game after 10 years away. Anyway, here is my question….

I am restoring a 66 Mustang and a 65 Mustang at the same time, I have to replace both sets of floor pans (long Driver and Pass, not full pans). From what I am reading about the epoxy glues on the market, would it be possible to glue them instead of weld? Like I said, I’m hesitant to glue instead of weld the pans as they are what makes the frame. But, then again I read an article from the glue manufacturer that they are actually gluing the frame rails of the Mercedes vehicles now. To me that doesnt seem very safe, but Ive been away for a bit.

What are your thoughts? I plan on gluing the rear quarter also, that doesnt concern me as much though.

    Thanks for your time.
