The engine and transmission were taken out of a running and driving fully restored car to make way for a custom engine/transmission setup. Engine ran poorly at an idle. Transmission worked perfectly. Did a leak down on the engine. Nothing over 8% and all past the rings. The poor idle was due to the worn flat tappet cam and lifters. I disassembled the engine, cleaned,painted,oiled and bagged components for long term storage. The transmission is stored with the torque converter, dipstick and a tail shaft plug. The short block is.030 over with stock style pistons. The heads don’t appear to have had hardened valve seats installed yet and the valves are still sealing so the owner must have used a lead replacement. $2500 and shipping.
