Hi,
I am a new member, so please forgive me if this subject is discussed in another thread. Just point me in the right direction.
I have a 1934 Ford pickup cab and doors that are in need of some patch work.
I would like to know the original sheet metal gauge thickness, so I can match it with new steel of the same gauge.
I have measured various areas on the cab with a micrometer, but this has resulted in thicknesses ranging from 18 to 20 gauge.
Any and all advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
