    Hi all,

I recently inherited my Dad’s 1931 Chevy street rod after he passed away two years ago. The car has sat in a barn for probably the past 4-5 years, and now my husband and I are getting it running again.

We removed the gas tank (it was original to the car) and had it cleaned with a liner placed inside, and now I am looking for a new fuel sending unit because the one that is on it isn’t working quite right. The shop isn’t sure how many ohms it is because it only works intermittently when they tested it.

He built the car literally from rusted out pieces and carved the wood frame inside by hand. I’d give anything to be able to ask him these questions now….the car has a 327 Chevy engine from probably about a ’68 Chevy truck and I know the gauges aren’t original. Does anyone have any idea what sending unit I need to get and where I can get it?

    Thanks!
    MsPontiac
