Starting off. I’m a tech over at the eastwood company. Sean would be the appropriate name to call me.

Done a lot of projects over my years in terms of cars and motorcycles.

I’ll be doing a DIY Prep and Paint for motorcycle fairings, frame, swingarm will be on my 2004 ZX6RR for a track bike.

It’s going to be set up for a Hello Kitty paint scheme, my oldest daughter who is a little over a year old, loves her Hello Kitty stuffed animals and her whole wardrobe is filled with it, and my newest edition, which should be here any day now. Kind of my tribute to them.

Also will be showing steps on powder coating.

The list of Eastwood Products i’ll be utilizing through this includes…

    Pre Prep
    2K Epoxy Primer
Auto Air Porn Star Pink (1QT)
    White Pearl Necklace (1QT)
    2K Clear
    Concours Detail Paint Gun
    Dual Voltage Powder Gun
    Pearl White Powder (2LBS)
    Black Diamond Powder (2LBS)
    Dura Block Sanding Kit
    120 Grit
    200-400 Grit
    Allen Wrenches
    Plastic Welder

Ran into a few things while doing the tear down… Headlight bracket was broken will have to be plastic welded back together… Few holes ended up in my fairings from the spill so i’ll be utilizing a fiberglass filler for those.

Thus far this is the project. It gets dropped off next week to Ed Quays Hot Rods in pottstown for a nice custom exhaust to be made up for it.

Than after thats finished have about another $800 of parts to install and than i begin on the painting and powdering to finish it all up for my first race down in NJ.
